‘Iceberg Alley’ would look fabulous with shrubs that have red to purple foliage such as Ninebarks (‘Summer Wine’, ‘Diablo’, ‘Center Glow. This is a selection of a native North American species. ‘Iceberg Alley’ is a male plant that produces pollen and nectar, making it attractive to honeybees, bumblebees and some butterflies This beauty has no significant pests or disease issues. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. It is not particular as to soil type or pH.
